Founder Tyriek had a life-transforming experience when diagnosed with HIV in 2019, driving him to a whole new level of passion for giving back to his community. His personal journey has instilled in him a greater sense of purpose and determination to create positive change, inspiring others within his community to prioritize health, wellness, and self-care.

Black and Queer Fitness joins Ashwell Sexual Health + Wellness for the 2024 Hill Country Ride for AIDS. Hill Country Ride for AIDS, is an awesome ride through the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Since 2000, the HCRA has raised more than $12,000,000 for people impacted by HIV and AIDS in our community.

Teaming up with Ashwell an organization, Empowering central Texans by providing sexual health and wellness services that serve the body, mind and spirit only made perfect sense.
